The Command Module
Our Command Module is the heart of entry point security. It can control readers, keypads, and alarms for one or two access points. 
It measures 5"x7" and may be placed in a Reader Housing, above a door, or in a remote location. For centrally controlled systems, the Command Module connects to a common two twisted pair cable network that ultimately terminates at a "PC", a Network Controller, or a Smart Cartridge for on-line control. No additional field panels, concentrators, or nodes are required. 

All entry point wiring terminates at the Command Module including; reader(s), alarm contacts, request to exit circuits, door strikes, and keypads. Readers and Keypads are powered by the Module. 

D.I.P. switches on the Command Module let you select several options such as:  Supervisor First, local or system controlled Anti-Pass-Back, off-line modes, alarm input polarity, automatic alarm shunting, keypad modes, and support for card numbers up to 100,000.  All terminations use screw terminal quick disconnect headers to make installation and maintenance hassle free.
