A single reader can be totally independent, or it can tie to a second reader. When two readers are tied together, programming at either reader programs both entry points    . 

We manufacture Stand-Alone readers for every popular technology including Proximity, Bar Code, Mag Stripe, Touch, Vehicle I.D., and our own patented Differential Optics. You can quickly void or validate any access card using a deck of programming cards at the reader. In addition, you can tie two readers together for "hard" anti-pass-back, or use timed anti-pass-back for single readers. 

Our OL series readers are controlled by one 4120 Command Module which contains the cardholder memory.
